The İnegöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry (İTSO) brought together leading figures from the business world at the “Export Stars Award Ceremony” held on October 21.
The ceremony was attended by Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Bursa Governor Erol Ayyıldız, İnegöl Mayor Alper Taban, İTSO President Yavuz Uğurdağ, as well as numerous industrialists and business representatives. During the event, companies that made significant contributions to İnegöl’s economy and demonstrated outstanding export performance were honored with awards.
In this context, Saloni was recognized for its remarkable success, achieving a total of USD 17,128,484.00 in furniture exports in 2024, including project-based sales. The award was presented to our Vice Chairman of the Board İsmail Özbek, by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
During his speech, İTSO President Yavuz Uğurdağ highlighted İnegöl’s strong position within the Turkish economy, stating:
“İnegöl has now become the city of industry, furniture, and exports. We are Türkiye’s 8th largest economy with a foreign trade surplus. With our three organized industrial zones, we continue to grow and add value to our country.”
Uğurdağ also emphasized that exports to the United States have commenced under the Tafex Project, adding:
“The American market is of great importance to us. We are determined to maintain our success in the furniture sector and continue our progress with the same dedication in other fields as well.”
