The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Turkey, Fahad Bin Assaad Bin Abdulkareem Bin Abualnasr, and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Abdurrahim Dusak, along with their delegation, visited the Saloni Furniture Factory and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries. During the visit, Saudi Arabia’s future vision, the significant potential of the furniture sector in this vision, and the demand for furniture in mega projects were discussed.

The Ambassador stated that the furniture sector would play a critical role in Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification and sustainable growth goals. Haluk Özbek, CEO of Saloni Furniture, pointed out that the demand for furniture, particularly in mega projects, could be met with high-quality production, fast delivery, after-sales support, and international market experience. Özbek also mentioned that the İnegöl furniture sector could make a significant contribution to Saudi Arabia’s vision.

The visit aims to further strengthen the trade relations between the two countries and lay the groundwork for new cooperation opportunities in the furniture sector. Additionally, the Ambassador expressed their satisfaction with the new structure established by Saloni Furniture in Saudi Arabia and invited them to invest in a large production facility within three years, also mentioning the support prepared by the Saudi Arabian government in this regard.
